Upcoming New York Tournament

Listen up! On Saturday November 21, 2009 the Battle For Salvation Gaming Club is going to be hosting its Fall charity tournament. 2000 points, three games, lots of loot and prizes for placing, best army, best painted, best sportsman, etc.

The servitors have been busy modeling up custom tables with themes ranging from the “Eternity Gate” to “Mechanicus Mars”. There is also going to be a charity auction to raise money for the Salvation army with copies of Space Hulk, Dark Heresy, blister packs, and a fully painted Eldar army by Warmaster Black Matt for the taking.

Consider this a personal Fritz invite to come and play, I need some of you guys to take out Jawaballs so I don’t have to face him on the top tables if the dice gods should so favor me! Tournament info and registration at:

I hope I get to play you Fritz, it seems this will be the only way I will get your flying witches on the table since you dodge me any other time. :)

But I'm not really sure if I want to play you. Your stuff is resiliant to shooting and it is fast. An objective mission will be tough to win against you and your witches can hurt my dreads... :( Damn you.

LOL! I'm not brining the jetbikes this time....

The only think that can stop your dreads is my seer council, but I figure you will dakka them with your baallz and assault with the dreads- flamer and melta style. At 2K points I don't get much more to my list. With your current BA build it would be hard for my Saim-Hann to pull it off and I don't want to leave it up to luck. Plus my council NEEDS fortune up to pull it off. You can bet every IG and marine army will be packing psychic hoods- old and new. Teddy's got them, Ed's got them, Dan's got them, Bobby's got them, Burt B. has them, Sean has them, Dominican Justice has them...

Final hurdle is the out of towners brining their Eldar- builds with maxed out x10 councils and full wave serpents- no weaksauce jetbike and vyper fluff that I bring. These are going to be bigger problems for you and I.

So I need an army and a plan that can work around that and deal with you...

....in the end all that matters is that we have to take out Brother Captain James from placing and make sure out land raiders pop smoke and then machine spirit that las cannons on him!

Seriously debating coming to this tournament to meet all you guys. It's a 4-5 hour drive away...but it would be an awesome day. I think your gaming club is top-notch.

If you could swing it we would love to have you and some Tau representation. Friday night is going to be hanging out and open gaming at the club, Saturday the tourney, and then Sunday haging out at the comic shop three blocks away where we play for some more fun and open gaming.

Best would be if you come, and then knock Jawaballs out of the running with your Tau for me. Eldar like having other do the dirty work for them!

If the gods will it then we will face each other on the table. Personally I want to see you take on Jawaballs or Brother Captain James....
