Tau of War
More and more I’ve been following Old Shattered Hands (His fire warriors above!) Tau of War Youtube channel. You guys know there is a LOT of 40K stuff out there on YT, but Tau of War delivers again and again with the vids. Production quality is good, tactics are good, and they are actually entertaining. We’ve got a few new dudes at the club stepping up with Tau, and Fritz has to get some advanced recon on what is to come.

Tau actually give me nightmares. So many shots at high Str. The gunlines are just frighting, so basically need high survivable units that are decent in assault, or can tarpit. Tarpitting Tau is key, just get in assault, so they can't shoot you. Out shooting Tau just isn't going to happen IMO.
Wow! Thanks for the shout out Fritz! I guess I've got get some more videos up there. I have got a few that I just haven't edited yet. Really appreciate it.

i always table tau i dont think they can really play the turn 5 game
They can play the Turn 5 game if they're heavily Mechanised, but 5th edition has been especially tough for them.
Suddenly all the squishy targets getting 4+ cover saves has really cramped their style.
They're not unplayable, but you're on the run from pretty much everyone as soon as the game begins.
