Email In:

Hi !

If you have time... please check my list.. and response.. of what do you think about it..

I going to start an eldar army... and I based my conf on your Harlequin eldar army theme.. but I change it a bit... What I want to ask is.. What do you think about it ?? I got many eldar miniature.. so feel free of giving advices about this set...

2000 pts army:

HQ
Farseer
fortune, Guide, Witnessing, Stones 125pts
Farseer
Fortune, Doom , Witnessing, Stones 130pts

I did not chosse Eldarat because we dont play specials at tournametns mostly.. I tried to set the most basic idea...

Troops

Jetbike Squadron 3x + Shuriken Cannon 76pts

Fast Attack
Warp Spiders 5x Exarch + Spinnet Rifle 127 pts
Warp Spiders 5x Exarch + Spinnet Rifle 127 pts

Heavy Support

Wraithlord + BL + EML 155 pts
Wraithlord + BL + EML 155 pts
War Walkers 3x 6x Scatters Lassers

I decide to switch 1 Harlequins pack for some fast troops (Warp Spiders) for some better maneverbility.. and W. Walkers for mass shotting.. a lot of S 6 shots like you can see.. with 2 pakcs of Clauns... the main idea is to keep the distance and shot and when the enemy approch.. sent the clauns and wraithlords... I chosed also Jetbikes.. they seems to be pretty handy with those 3 s6 shots... espesialy when there are 9 of them..
I dont know if it is a good idea to have spinner rifle on warp exarch.. i chosed it beacause it cause pinnig.. with AP 1 it and BS 5 it is pretty cool.. but i dont know how will it works on battelfield..

So pretty much it is your idea... I just added some more shotting and fast tropps...

What do you think ?? Is there any chance this will work??

All regards... Great job on Giving tactic advices on YouTube!

I actually really like your list, and I think it is at a good level for 2000 points. Let’s walk through the units…

You need to work runes of warding into your list just to annoy and possibly stop chaos lash, space marine librarians, tyranids, or even other eldar if they don’t bring runes of witnessing. If you need to free up the points drop a rune of witnessing on a farseer since they are LD 10 anyway and are not 100% needed- but nice to have.

Jetbikes are good- use the three cannons to snipe light vehicles and transports, use speed to work to hit side armor, speed to contest objectives.

Drop the pathfinders down to rangers to free up points for upgrades or more units. A good opponent will negotiate cover saves and five shooting at him won’t do much. The rangers will be in cover anyway and just go to ground for the 2+ cover save. Yes, you loose a round of shooting but they won’t do much with the shooting anyway so no loss. Basically use them to hold your objectives.

For your harlies get another fusion pistol in there. Two are 100% needed to possible pop open a tank and then assault inside, or to take down a marine or two before you assault. You can pay for it with the points saved by dropping down to rangers.

Everything else looks good and you have a lot of mobility in the list despite not having vehicles- which is a good think since you can now not worry about melta-guns.

You also have a lot of pinning in the list as you mention which can be fun and an unexpected surprise when it works- pinning from the death jester, wraithlord, and spiders.

Not much more for me to add beyond that, let me know how it works out after a few games.

my only concern looking at the list is that it does seem to be a lot of small units. 3 jetbikes, 5 pathfinders, 5 spiders, squadron of walkers.. just worried you might be setting yourself up for a hard time in kill point missions.
