Continuing with some ideas for the transition to 5th edition I've been toying with dropping my jetbike warlocks from my list. While I have had great success with them & destructor and have made many cases for playing them, maybe it is time to switch things up a bit. If I drop my warlocks I can add in more jetbikes, two guardian squads and another farseer from the current range of models I have painted up for my Saim-Hann warhost. Having really wanted another jetbike farseer for some time I could now actually work it into my list. Two 'seers casting mindwar will be fun, but casting guide twice on two different units will make an even bigger difference to my list. In 4th I have been playing my jetbikes very aggressively and they worked well with the warlocks, in 5th I see them hanging back and shooting with the shuriken cannons before moving out to claim and contest objectives.

One thing I worry about for jetbikes is the fact that they might not get their jump back move. I have not heard anything to say this, but have heard that Dark Eldar bikes will be getting the jump back move. I am worried since the jump back move is not a codex rule, but a unit type special rule Eldar might not get it anymore.
Then again, it is possible that all Eldar, including Dark Eldar, will get this move.
I have made my Saim-Hann very modular and not only magnetize weapons, but use models as various thing. I haven't tried out Warlocks yet, but I have a list with 3 (using Shining Spear models). I love the idea of Warlocks, but you may be right about jsut using jetbike squads to get objectives since Vypers are probably not scoring in 5th.
BTW, I have posted a few times here as anonymous (tagged -Hive Fleet Red Locust) and was wondering how to get as user name.
Here are my Eldar:

Just to throw it out there. I've been running two farseers recently. I at first they have fortune and mind war each. I've recently switched to fortune/doom on one and fortune/mind war on the other.
It really rounds out the list to have both, and fortune is so powerful with jetbikes it's hard to justify anything else as the base power.
From the "copies" of 5th coming out that I have seen eldar jetbikes will retain their 6" move in the assault phase- which is still a huge advantage and is one of the main reasons that makes Saim-Hann worth playing.
