Question to all the 40K players: In your club or gaming store, what armies do you find yourself playing against? I ask this because in my gaming club of about 25 players/members I face about 70% Space Marines, 20% Chaos, and the rest Tau, Imperial Guard, Necrons, and a single Grey Knight / Sisters / Dark Eldar player. Before the new Ork codex there wasn’t even another Ork player.

i'd say theres a some variety in my club,i play eldar-ork :-P, well there are 3 eldar, 5-10 space marines, 1 dark-eldar, 2 orks, 2-3 tau, 2 necrons, 2 imperial guard, 4 chaos, 2 nids, 1 battle sisters, 1 grey knight, guess thats all the regular players
Mostly Space Marines and Tyranids (mostly Zillanid armies...no real swarmers yet). No one played Orks, though a few (including myself) are putting together Ork army lists since the new codex. We also don't get Necrons or Dark Eldar, sadly. One dude plays IG. He also runs Witchhunters and Daemonhunters so he can use his IG as allies.

Marines are (as usual) the majority. probably 60-70% in the usual flavors, one BA player, a Black Templar player or two, some other assorted chapters.
eldar, tau and necrons share the next level, totaling about 30% or so
orks and nids come in next, probably about 5%
ig and chaos make up the remainder.
Uhhhhhhh, Tau and Orks seem to be at the top of my opponent's field lists, followed by 'Nids.
Seeing as though I have a horrible track record against Eldar, I'm fine with that. ;)
My community started with only one Space Marine player (shocking but true) with only a handful of guys playing Chaos Marines, Tyranids, and Saim Hann Eldar (me) and a Blood Angel Chapter and a Chinese Theme Imperial Guard.
Now, loyalist are back in action with some new members taking up the Ultramarine banner, 3 necron players (the dead has truly risen), 2 witch players (rare!), a dark eldar player, the chaos player turned to LATD, another new blood angel company and with the new ork codes, 2 more upcoming Ork players.
