Warp Gate Terrain

A reader from this blog who has given me some good tactical ideas for my Saim-Hann makes some killer terrain- the picture above is an Eldar warp gate he made so I figured I’d post a link for my readers to take a look.

Saim-Hann Eldar

“The Eldar craft world of Saim-Hann was one of the first craft worlds to abandon the crone worlds as the Fall of the Eldar approached, heeding their Farseer's warnings. As such they have spent far more time isolated from the rest of the Eldar than the other main craft worlds, although they do contact and have a similar culture to the Exodite worlds. They are fierce warriors, who place upon honor a higher value than their sophisticated kin. This, coupled with their pride, has sadly led them to conflict with each other and different craft worlds. While this generally takes the form of an organized duel between representatives of each clan, in which first blood is usually sufficient, the high number of deaths from these conflicts has lent to the barbaric reputation of the craft world.” From Wikipedia.

Taking to the tabletop battlefield my Saim-Hann Eldar army consists of Vypers, Jetbikes, a Fire Prism, and Dire Avengers / Storm Guardians mounted in Wave Serpents. As an entirely mobile and mechanized list I can be across the table in one turn unleashing a torrent of star cannon and bright lance fire into my opponent. Following the idea of a truly mounted and mobile Eldar list this blog will chronicle my tactics, exploits, and battle reports against the lesser races.
